About the Book
What connects India’s monsoon murmurs, Australia’s bright resilience, Mexico’s lyrical heartbeat, the Philippines’ warm cadence, and the United States’ vast echoes?
A moment distilled into verse.
In Bridges of Words: Haikus Uniting Cultures from 57 Countries of the World, you will find poems shaped by the haiku tradition, drawing on its brevity and imagery while moving beyond strict classical form. These haiku inspired reflections offer cultural impressions in their simplest and most sincere shape. They do not explain. They invite. They do not shout. They hum.
From quiet villages to luminous skylines, this collection reminds us that the world is wide but wonder is universal.

About the Book
What survives of us, if not words?
Lines Worth Remembering gathers the most arresting work from the 2024 BREW Poetry Award—poems that do more than impress; they endure.
Inside this collection are verses that ask, challenge, soothe, and provoke. They come from poets unafraid to confront the world and themselves, to ask impossible questions, and to offer language as both salve and blade. Here are moments made into meaning, raw edges shaped into rhythm.
As poet Mary Oliver once asked, “What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Perhaps one answer is to listen. Closely. To the voices in these pages.
Because some lines deserve to be remembered. And these?
These refuse to be forgotten.
